white florals

Bec & Bridge shirt | Eska Alikai skirt

I couldn't help myself, I had to take a few photos of this outfit my friend was wearing. I'm a big fan of white leather skirts (as evidenced here) especially because its a great way to include leather in your spring/summer wardrobe; not that leather in all forms and colours shouldn't be worn all through summer (especially in the form of shorts!). I love how she's chosen the sheer Bec & Bridge shirt to add a hint of floral and colour into the outfit.

sunshine revisited

Sass & Bide jumper (seen here and here)| Zara skirt | Topshop sneakers (seen here)| Zara bag (seen here and here)

You know you struck fashion gold when you purchase something over a year ago and it's still something that you reach for in your wardrobe. Especially when it's not one of the "Cardinal 10 Necessities". This bright yellow Sass & Bide cable knit never fails to put me in a good mood. I love it paired with leather, denimmore leather and one of my favourite prints- python! It's the perfect solution to warmish days with chilly breezes. I guess with the weather turning warmer, I'm starting to embrace colour again.

zara september lookbook

Even thought winter has definitely left us here in Sydney, I was completely mesmerised by the new Zara September Lookbook. The beautifully tailored coats almost makes me wish for winter again. It reminds me of Stella McCartney with Louis Vuitton lace chemise touches. The stunning contrast between the sharp tailoring and the muted colours paired with the soft minimalistic hair and make-up.  Remember the new project I mentioned in my last post? Well, it may involve a trip gallivanting through Europe in early 2014. Which means I need to stock up on some warm coats and winter clothing. What a wonderful coincidence!

planning ahead

Rodarte hoodie| Etoile Isabel Marant skort (seen here| Converses (seen here)| Celine trio bag

I'm not sure if its outfit preparation, or if I've just turned into an outfit repeater offender due to sheer exhaustion. I've been spending the last few months at work, studying at College of Law (thank god that's over!) and working on an exciting project that I'm really excited to share with everyone something soon! These photos were taken last weekend and I can already foresee myself wearing a variation of this super comfortable outfit this weekend, holed up in a cafe somewhere. I'm hoping that the weather will be co-operating and I can move to somewhere al fresco.

what's better than regular?

Bassike tee | Mango suede jacket| Current Elliot boyfriend jeans | Isabel Marant Dicker boots (seen here)| Chloe Paraty bag (seen here and here)

What's better than ordinary boyfriend jeans? Well, white boyfriend jeans of course! It has all the comfort of wearing boyfriend jeans plus the added chic of it being white. There's nothing I love more that wearing white with a nice tan...or my Isabel Marant boots.

detoxing

Rag & Bone knit (seen here| Bassike skirt (seen here| Zara braided handle tote

Recently I've been really trying to get the most out of my wardrobe. Aside from the occasional slip of control and constant devil on my shoulder telling me to shop - I've been good. Well, at least I think I've been good. With all the money that I've been saving, I've been splurging on fresh flowers which constantly add to my happy mood. It must be the detox speaking. And now, I've amassed a huge stack of clothing in one corner of my room that's waiting for me to put on tictail/ebay/markets. I enjoy the challenge of reworking certain pieces in a different way and really get my penny's worth.

Here's to hoping that I don't fall off the wagon anytime soon!

raglan(g) knit

Helmut Lang knit | Nicholas skirt (seen here| Celine trio

This was taken on the last few days of winter. We've had an unseasonably warm winter this year, so I basically spent a good majority of the time going bare-legged. The skirt of choice is of course my leather Nicholas which I purchased in a moment of forethought during early summer. Worn with one of my favourite Helmut Lang knit, the perfect about of sporty raglan touch.
